The aims and objectives of the Society shall be to:

• To disseminate the knowledge of Agriculture & Horticulture.
• To provide facilities for association and conference among students of Agriculture and for encouragement of close relationship between them and those in the related sciences.
• To facilitate international cooperation in the field of Agriculture.
• To encourage and develop knowledge and skills in all fields of primary industry to predominantly benefit the community of India.
• To provide facilities for periodical meetings among research workers in Agriculture & Horticulture.
